The original oil painting titled "The Price of Freedom" depicting the final moments of the battle of the Alamo is currently on display in San Antonio, Texas. The painting was commissioned by Dusty Hill, bass player for the rock band ZZ Top. Mr. Hill graciously loaned the painting to the Alamo until the fall of 2004.
