The painting titled "Lone Star Justice / Alamo Rangers" has been donated to the Alamo in San Antonio, TX to hang in their permanent collection. The donor, Ernesto Jergens, a long time Alamo patron is the owner of Ernesto's Jewelry Factory in New Braunfels, TX.
He purchased the painting from Richard Luce in 2005. The painting depicting four Texas Rangers from the late 1840's hung in the Alamo Chapel for a period after it's purchase.
Richard has been painting Alamo subjects for years and has also donated works to raise funds for the Alamo.
