On June 28th 2013 the official opening of the Interpretive Center at the Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park in Elizabethton, Tennessee took place. In attendance was the Governor of Tennessee Bill Haslam as well as other state and local officials. Richard completed 4 original paintings which were enlarged as wall murals for the permanent displays.
